I’m back from Boston, and boy, are my arms tired. I mean, wow, it was great seeing the GamerDNA HQ. There were a few details that really stood out for me that I thought you’d enjoy hearing about:

1. Sure, it’s a funded startup, but the money is going entirely back into tools, servers, and features. Perhaps the strongest proof was the stand the projector was perched on: the box the projector came in. And please, bear in mind that this is the projector they use for fancy presentations and important meetings.

2. Our creative director decorated with classic video game decals. The wall by the bathroom has Space Invaders blips. HIS area is decorated with some kind of chainsaw wielding blood spurting figure.

3. Our fearless leader is in a cube, and it’s not even a good one near a window.

4. If someone were to be really immature and attempt a pressed ham on the conference room window facing the alley, they would moon the CEO of Harmonix. Yes, GamerDNA is that close to the Rock Band goodness.

5. The team is made up of the kind of people who can argue for an hour over whether tactics/twitch is the same thing as defense/offense.
