		<description>I think Fallout 3 was a bit overlooked on the Console side, it came out one week after Fable 2 and one week before Gears of War 2.  People bought Fable 2 and skipped Fallout 3 in favor of the multiplayer bombshell Gears of War 2 which debuted one week later.  Money is tight in this economy, afterall ;)</description>

As for the traits system, I can&#039;t speak for others, but aside from when it was in beta and we were filling out the database, when I trait a game NOW, I tend to just go with whatever options other people have already picked, so long as I agree with them. It&#039;s not necessarily properly indicative of what I personally love about any given game; they&#039;re just descriptors which I feel are accurate when describing it. So when I say it&#039;s (e.g.) post-apocalyptic, I&#039;m stating a fact. I&#039;m not, however, a huge fan of post-apocalyptic games. They&#039;re okay, but I&#039;m not fascinated with or addicted to them.

So another question for you: given that my approach to the traits system is probably not unique, how useful do you feel it actually is in terms of drawing conclusions about the gDNA userbase?</description>

Perhaps it’s because console gamers have more interaction with text and console gamers only have to speak?  Ok, “omg lawl wut?” isn’t much of a sentence…but at least people are thinking in text and surely that’s more conductive for thought.  Maybe.  

They have to take that extra step to make themselves heard, and maybe that’s just enough to explain some of the emotional attachment.  Of course, there’s a ton more voice-chat nowadays, but still…</description>
