Bronze Dragonborn Statues for Skyrim...

Images of a large warehouse housing an army of bronzed Dragonborn statues was posted on Skyrim's official facebook page. These statues are around a live sized 7ft tall and put the 12" Collectors edition dragon statue to shame, why couldn't these works of art be shoved into a collectors edition box? The statues have a bronze finish and look to be quite detailed and even though hardcore fans are going to be spamming "ZOMG WHER CAN I GETZ 1  !1!!!??" they will unfortunately only available to retailers selling the game.

From Dust….A Game That Seems Well Worth...

From Dust is a game that has caught my attention and intrigued me since the get go with it's graphics alone. Overtime I began to watch for demos and trailers hoping to get a glimpse of what I was so excited about. The truth is I was both surprised and delighted at the direction and the content the designers had decided to put out there.

In the game you are "god". We all know this has already been done quite successfully in the past and I'm sure you are wondering "what makes this game any different?" I'll tell you what is different…first off, the game has enough of a purpose that you can't just free mode it all the time. There is a strategy element to the game that forces you to act quick and efficiently to save the tribe of people that are at your disposal, and to make sure that you don't just dispose of them, the people in the game can impact the environment, make choices, and are directly effected by your decisions. Basically you can grow to like them and it will make you feel a whole lot worse when you watch them all drown in a tsunami. Additionally, the game plays like an RPG on some levels. Your decisions in the game effect the way you play the game and how people like you. This allows you to be a benevolent savior or a malicious deity to the poor village personnel…will you control them with compassion or fear? The choice is yours. In fact every single thing in the game with the exception of natural disasters is controlled by you.

Overall the game looks beautiful and it seems to be a game that is worth pre-ordering. I already have. Oh yeah and if you pre-order through Steam, you get a free hat that looks really freaking cool. Just saying.

War Inc. The Contest.

Ya'll should check out our friend Xfire within the next 3 days and enter their War Inc. contest.

War Inc. is a fairly fun to play third person shooter that is completely PVP or PVC. You can level up and have a few classes to play as, my favorite being the sniper. The way that you acquire new weapons is through a rent type of system. Basically you rent the item for however much you want to pay, or pay a hefty fine to keep it. That's a little annoying, but the game itself is actually pretty worth it especially considering the fact that it is free.

If you do play in this contest you can win a $700 dollar graphic card and 2500 game dollars, second place gets a $350 game card and 2000 game dollars. That's some pretty cool stuff so it's definitely worth a shot.

Thanks Xfire for the chance to win such kick A prizes.

James Bond: Golden Eye, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Halo, Star Fox 64, Cave Story, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Super Mario 64, Perfect Dark, Pokemon Silver or Gold…what do all of these titles have in common? They have all been, or are being re-made into titles for current gen consoles. A lot of the time these remakes are just a polished re-cut gem. They were once priceless to you, but over time they grew less and less and eventually you just stopped playing them despite how much enjoyment they bring you. It's the job of the people who re-create games to spit shine it up, add some more content, and feed the nostalgic dragon lurking inside your dungeon of a heart. Now this actually isn't a bad thing, I personally love picking up old games and playing them (look at my daily game posts), it's just fun. Plain and simple.

Now, since we have established my love for old games, and sat down and had a touching moment of remembrance together as our favorite games passed before our eyes in a string of fuzzy yet familiar memories and left us with a warm tingling happiness in our chest, let's think about some games that SHOULD be re-made.

They tirelessly wait on message boards for an opposing topic to surface like a zebra at a watering hole and once that zebra starts to sip its long awaited drink of water they pounce like a Nile crocodile, assaulting with all kinds of threats, insults, and open-ended points and arguments. When a response is made by the other party they plug their ears and chant endlessly "YOU ARE WRONG! YOU ARE WRONG!" until they're opposition submits to their ignorance and refuses to take the discussion any further.

A Large Portion of 3G Owners Think They Are...

A recent study from retrevo shows how a whole third of iPhone users think that they have 4G when in fact Apple doesn't even offer a 4G phone yet. Its not just iPhone owners, Android and BlackBerry users are also suffering the same confusion. The study shows that 24% of tested BlackBerry phone owners believed that they had 4G where just like Apple and 4G phone isn't even supported yet. With all tested Android users 29% of them believed they had 4G when they did not. At least with Android someone guessing could answer right because Android does have available 4G phones.

Its a little startling to see the amount of confusion surrounding the 4G network, the study shows how it could impact the sales of these 4G phones and also shows how the public perceives them. Almost a third of users think that the 4G data plan is too expensive. 40% of iPhone users say that they will buy the next phone even if it does not support 4G this is saying much more than Androids 8% and BlackBerry's 23%.

Netflix, what are you thinking?

Netflix, the movie rental and streaming giant have decided that they want to jack up their prices. Woah woah woah, what? Netflix, why are you doing this? We all enjoy getting all of your movies and streaming for just $9.99 a month, and we know you are turning a profit. Why are you so compelled to raise them??? Could it be corporate greed? Because that would be really lame.

The new price will be $15.99 per month, and will begin soon. Bleh boo you Netflix and your silly price raise.

I know that this fat cat may have to start Huluing it up now. You know before Netflix starts imposing a late fee or something.
