Russell Miner
Lead Developer
Russell is a veteran of the Internet start-up industry with engineering experience developing a wide array of Internet-based applications. His enthusiasm and attitude are relentlessly positive, and highly contagious. His love of games runs deep and he considers himself a connoisseur of games both online and offline. A look at his gamerDNA gaming profile can attest to the many games he has “tasted.”
Russell started his Internet development while in college, as a co-founder of Humansearch Enterprises Inc., a human-based Internet search service. This first foray into Internet development was enough to lay the foundation of a career built on developing socially oriented Internet-based applications.
Once he graduated, Russell took lessons learned from Humansearch, and contacts he had forged with industry leaders, and joined another start-up: Abuzz Technologies. While at Abuzz Russell helped to develop several versions of their question and answer web-applications, and was able to take part in the acquisition of the company by the New York Times. After leaving Abuzz, Russell jumped into yet another start-up, joining Affinnova Inc. At Affinnova, Russell helped
to develop their advanced market research application, that uses evolutionary algorithms to evolve product design and packaging. After Affinnova, Russell developed electronic eTutorials for the pharmaceutical industry at Custom Learning Designs.
Throughout his career, Russell has mastered the mystical arts of Internet development from the back-end world of databases to the user interface implementation of rich Internet applications.
